Equipment Requirements

​We are asking that all players have their own equipment and do not share helmets. 

Below are the recommended items for each level of play. Players should have this equipment for both practices and games. Please reach out to information@rutherfordlittleleague.com for any questions:

Mandatory Items

T-Ball

• Bat - All bats must meet the USA Baseball Bat standard - please refer here for more information

• Helmet - face shield is optional 

• Glove - Sizing chart help

• Water bottle

Coach Pitch​

• Bat - All bats must meet the USA Baseball Bat standard - please refer here for more information

• Helmet - Face shield is optional

Minor and Major baseball ​

• Bat - All bats must meet the USA Baseball Bat standard - please refer here for more information

• Helmet - faceshield is optional

• Glove - Sizing chart help

• Heart Guard (Mandatory) 

• Water bottle

• Catchers are required to have an athletic Cup

• Plastic Cleats - Highly recommended for all levels, no metal cleats allowed.

• A bag to carry equipment
